Community Support Worker - Casual
Role
Our community and disability service delivers support to NDIS participants, DVA (defence veterans) and general public in order for them continue to be independent or supported. Care is based around individual needs, in which you will support the client interests and lifestyle involved in their care plan. We are growing our footprint across Adelaide, so now is the perfect time to join the team!
About You
-
Are flexible and available to work either morning, evening and overnight

Have personal vehicle and can travel northern, eastern and southern parts of Adelaide metropolitan area

Minimum 6 months experience in disability, aged care, youth work or community support
-
Have the ability to work independently without supervision and apart of a multidisciplinary team

Quality Interpersonal communication skills

Provide a consistent, professional and effective level of support

$34 per hour + 25% casual loading (Mon-Fri), $41.50 per hour + 25% casual loading (Weekends)

To be successful for this position, we require:

Demonstrated experience working with disability, elderly or vulnerable persons

Certificate 3 or above in Individual support (or equivalent)

Current Working with Children Check

Current First Aid Certificate
-
National Police Certificate
-
Valid Visa To Work In Australia

Full Australian Driver’s License
-
Up to Date Manual Handling & CPR Certificate (we can help you attain this)
